Browser-based processing
Many calculators, text utilities, image tools and PDF tools process inputs directly in your browser. For these tools, selected files and entered text are not uploaded to ToolTapGo unless the individual tool clearly states that it uses a server endpoint.
Accounts and personal toolbox
When you create an account, ToolTapGo stores your name, email address, password hash or Google sign-in identifier, account status and creation date. Passwords are never stored as readable text. Favourites, recent tools and tool-usage counts are stored with your account to provide cross-device synchronisation. Browser storage may also hold a local cache for faster loading.
Authentication and password recovery
ToolTapGo uses secure server sessions and anti-forgery tokens. Password-reset tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes, expire after 60 minutes and are invalidated after use. When Google sign-in is used, Google verifies the identity and ToolTapGo stores the verified email address, provider identifier, display name and available profile image.
Built-in analytics
ToolTapGo records page-view, search and tool-open events to understand website usage. A page view is deduplicated by page, visitor and day, and readable IP addresses are not stored in the analytics table. The system does not record text entered into tools or the contents of files being processed.
Cookies, local storage and consent
Essential cookies are used for secure sign-in sessions, anti-forgery protection and account functionality. Local storage may remember theme, favourites, recent tools and temporary interface preferences. When Google AdSense is enabled, a Google-certified consent message is used for visitors in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and Switzerland. That message provides consent, refusal and preference-management options before advertising that requires consent is requested.
Google AdSense advertising
ToolTapGo may use Google AdSense to display clearly labelled advertisements on eligible public pages. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device information, approximate location, ad interactions and similar signals to deliver, limit, measure and personalise advertising where permitted by your consent choices. Non-personalised or limited ads may still use information necessary for fraud prevention, frequency capping, aggregated reporting and contextual delivery.
You can review or change advertising choices through the consent controls presented on the website. You can also manage how Google uses advertising information through your Google account and Google’s advertising privacy controls.
Contact messages
Messages submitted through the contact form are stored in the website database and may also be emailed to the configured support address. They contain the name, email address, subject and message supplied by the sender.
Uploaded files and server tools
Most file tools work in the browser. The Lock PDF tool sends the selected PDF to the ToolTapGo server for processing and returns the resulting file. Website-analysis tools send the requested public URL to the server so it can perform the check. Avoid submitting confidential information to a server-based tool unless you are comfortable with the behaviour described on that tool page.
Other third-party services
The website may load fonts, icons and JavaScript libraries from content-delivery networks. Google services are contacted when Google sign-in or Google AdSense is enabled. Hosting, email-delivery and security providers may process limited technical information where necessary to operate and protect the website.
Data management and security
The administration area can enable, disable or remove user accounts and delete contact messages. ToolTapGo uses password hashing, prepared database queries, secure cookies, CSRF protection, rate limiting, audit logging and access controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so server software and backups are maintained and updated as part of normal website operation.
