Frequently asked questions
Will merging PDFs reduce quality?
Merging normally preserves the source PDF pages. Always open the downloaded document and check page order, fonts, forms and images before sending it.
Can I edit existing PDF text?
The PDF Editor supports detected text on compatible PDFs, but complex embedded fonts or protected content can limit direct editing.
Are password-protected PDFs supported?
Some tools cannot open encrypted files until the correct password protection is removed. The Lock PDF tool requires the optional qpdf server utility.
